Paso Robles City Library

Live. Laugh. Library.

Paso Robles City Library came to 20|20 Creative Group to turn the page on their old, dry brand, in favor of something more lively. A nod to the city's abundance of oak trees, I designed the acorn logo to be fun and kid-friendly, in line with the quirky, "adorkable" brand voice we developed.

From there, I worked to create a palette and visual system that was compatible with the city's existing brand guidelines, while giving the Library its own distinct identity.

Brand Implementation

Knowing that most design work would be executed by PRCL's in-house team, I worked on a broad range of designs demonstrating the use of the brand's type, color, and graphic elements.

Concurrently, fellow designer Meg Stinnett headed up the design of a vehicle wrap for PRCL's new Bookmobile, with art direction from myself as I developed the overall brand asynchronously.

Canva Templates

In a departure from our usual workflow, I did all marketing design templates directly in Canva to ensure a 1:1 experience for PRCL's in-house team, who would carry out day-to-day production. This included various print and digital templates such as Instagram posts, flyers, large-format prints, and library cards.
