Engineering a Better Website
A full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering firm, Cannon brought to the table perhaps the most intricate information architecture problem I've tackled to date.
With over 130 portfolio projects, this website redesign demanded not only a streamlined experience for a user, but also for the Cannon employees that would take the wheel following launch. With that in mind, I utilized ACF Pro and Themeco Pro's dynamic content functionality to create custom interfaces on the back end, for simpler management and a more bespoke experience than an off-the-shelf Wordpress build would provide.
On top of their portfolio, Cannon most importantly wanted their new site to reflect their rich, familial, and fun company culture. Working closely with Cannon's leadership, we set out to create something that was professional, but not stuffy; clean, but not bland; consistent, but not rigid. And after a months-long process, I think we nailed it.
